About DiagnoCure
Founded in 1994, DiagnoCure is a life sciences company commercializing high-value cancer diagnostic tests and lab services that increase clinician and patient confidence in making critical treatment decisions. DiagnoCure specializes in molecular diagnostic tests that detect irregular gene or protein activity patterns associated with cancer.
Compared to traditional analysis methods, which can detect one cancer cell in 200 normal cells, molecular technologies can detect one cancer cell in up to 10 million normal cells. This represents a significant improvement in providing vital information for treatment decisions.
DiagnoCure’s latest product introduction is the Previstage™ GCC Colorectal Cancer Staging Test. Developed by DiagnoCure and launched in 2008, the test is available through the company’s US clinical laboratory, DiagnoCure Oncology Laboratories.
DiagnoCure also has a strategic alliance with Gen‐Probe for the development and commercialization of a second‐generation prostate cancer test using PCA3, DiagnoCure’s proprietary molecular marker. This test is available through laboratories in the U.S. using PCA3 analyte specific reagents (ASR) from Gen‐Probe, in Europe as the CE‐marked PROGENSA™ PCA3 in vitro assay, and in Canada.
In addition to these latest developments, DiagnoCure’s product pipeline includes the GCC Blood Test for monitoring colorectal cancer and a line of prognostic tests based on Shc proteins.
